HELP ! ESRI-Coverages don't work !

Christian,

Any chance this is a permissions problem? Does your
web user (apache, nobody, etc) have read access to the
dataset, and all intervening directories?  Try moving the dataset
temporariliy into/under the same directory as the map and see if
that works better.
