I had many errors using 4.4.1 and IIS. I switched to running the "kitchen sink" version of 4.4.1 and have had many of these problems disappear. Not very detailed response but I could not explain why things that were working in 4.4 just quit in 4.41 and they started working when I switched to the other executables.
