problem with postgis

Hello,

I don't know if will write something useless to you but, let's try.
This message happens to me usually when I don't start PostgreSQL, be sure
it's working, try to connect it by command line.
I don't like to use the postgre user, try to create another user for your
application and give him permission to access your database.
