map server question?

Hi,

 I am running MapServer on a Linux server.  I dont know what this error 
means loadForm(): Web application error. CGI variable "map" is not set. 
How do I fix this error?

Please provide me with the step-by-step guidance since I never used 
this
product before, thanks for your time.
