Onderwerp: [UMN_MAPSERVER-USERS] Setting up a value for a classitem
expression in address bar - possible?

Hello all!
I'm wondering if it is possible to set up a value for a classitem expression
in the address bar, not directly in the map-file. That means that I want to
have something like this in the map-file:
  LAYER
    NAME Sel_Street
    DATA Streets
    STATUS OFF
    TYPE LINE
    CLASSITEM "OBJECTID"
    CLASS
      NAME 'Selected street'
#EXPRESSION '28' #This is the value, which should be set dynamically
      STYLE
        COLOR 255 0 0
      END
    END
  END
and activate the layer setting up a value for the expression-part in the
reference to the active page (for example, like this:
http://localhost/mapserv.exe?map=/ms4w/apps/my/streets.map&mode=browse&layer
=Sel_Street&expr=28).
Can someone help me out?
Thanks,
Dmitri
