freetype error for curved label

Hi,
Here the report :
./mapserv -v
MapServer version 4.10.0 OUTPUT=GIF OUTPUT=PNG OUTPUT=JPEG OUTPUT=WBMP 
OUTPUT=PDF OUTPUT=SVG SUPPORTS=PROJ SUPPORTS=FREETYPE SUPPORTS=WMS_SERVER 
SUPPORTS=WMS_CLIENT SUPPORTS=WFS_CLIENT SUPPORTS=GEOS INPUT=EPPL7 
INPUT=POSTGIS INPUT=OGR INPUT=GDAL INPUT=SHAPEFILE DEBUG=MSDEBUG

Actually, I am using php_mapscript on a mandriva linux with PHP5 in CGI mode. 
Phpinfo tells me the same information.
$ freetype-config --version
9.8.3
