Adding XY tables in MapServer

Hello,

I know this has been discussed before, but I need more specifics.

I have an Access table with XY values.  I need to bring this into MapServer.
 I understand that I would an OGR connection.  I saw examples of connecting
via OGR with different file types, but I need an example using ODBC connection.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
