UMN - Oracle Spatial

Mapserver queries Oracle row by row (fetch by id). This works fine for
shapefiles but not for database sources.

For maps it should be reasonably fast enough on Oracle Spatial, but for
queries it is not, at least that's my experience. It also depends on the
size of the result set ofcourse.

If I need heavy queries, I tend to go for Geoserver instead.

Best regards,
Bart
