Hi, Just a thought here, but have you considered using a threaded server? e.g. aolserver? Are you able to run "in-process"? Also, IIRC, thgere's a switch in the mapfile to keep the postgres, maybe the oracle connection open to save the connection overhead... PROCESSING "CLOSE_CONNECTION=DEFER" regards, nikos
