[Journal] New to the "newsletter" mailing list

Hi,
    I grew up in Michigan and currently live in Oregon.  Starting in archaeology and now in local government, I've been doing GIS/GPS/Surveying to some extent since 2002, FOSS since about 2007.  Working as the GIS Analyst for a small local government covers a wide range of tasks and topics.  The OSGEO projects that I use the most are gdal, mapserver, and postgis.  
    I would like to proofread for the journal.  I don't have a degree in English but am competent at finding errors.  I may not be able to suggest elegant corrections, but can point it out to the author or someone else.
