[OpenGeoscience] EGU 2017: Townhall conveners / title / description

Hi Peter, all,

thanks for taking this initiative. I'd be happy to be listed as a
co-convenor.

Your text is good but a little bit generic; it would IMO benefit from a
couple of thoughts that would trigger the curiousity of geoscience
researches more (this is EGU).

Some ideas:

- software life cycle: who will maintain your software after you've
finished your PhD and found a decent job? Is it possible to develop a
community-based project from an individual project?
- funding software development: developing software for your own needs
into something that serves other's needs, or proper testing and
documentation all take resources; where could these come from?
- software reviews: how to set up software development such that other
developers get involved in an early stage?
- recognition for scientific software: how to write a software paper?
- how can OSGEO help you with all these questions?
