[OpenLayers-Users] Time Series Quetion

Hello dear sir,
   In the OpenLayers examples there is a wmst.html.I want to how the data with time attribute organized in geoserver and how to make a WMS with time attribute. Can the time attribute store in the PostGIS ?Thank you for your seeing my question.
