[OpenLayers-Users] SLD Post within OpenLayers

Luis,

I do not understand the issue here?

I have been using remote SLDs to render layers within OL a lot (sld:
'fileName', in params) and can change the remote SLD file at any time with a
yourLayer.mergeNewParams({'sld':newSldFile});

Is this a problem I could also have depending on the length of the WMS
request?

Cheers,

Subject: [OpenLayers-Users] SLD Post within OpenLayers

Hi all

I need to mount a dynamic SLD and POST it to the Wms (GeoServer)
environment.
The Http GET method is not enough , because the SLD dynamic text may cross
the 1024 bytes limitation fence from (some) browsers.
So , question: Is there a way to POST the dynamic SLD to the Wms using
OpenLayers ?

Thanks in advance
