[OpenLayers-Users] Can I apply a SLD style on a WMS layer in OpenLayers

All,

I saw the SLD sample, in which I can parse an external SLD xml file and
apply that on a vector layer. My question is can I apply such SLD style on a
WMS layer? (assume WMS server supports SLD/SLD_BODY parameter)
