[OpenLayers-Users] How to create a event?

Hi all,

Someone have a example that teaches create a event that there isn,t in OL?
I have a combobox with some placeholders (schools, hospital), all them 
have the geometry point at postgis. So i bring it and make a mark in the 
map by mapserver. So, i'd like to choose a placeholder from the combobox 
and create a circle with some radius from this point.
Someone can help me?
