[OpenLayers-Users] number of tiles

Hi

I'm trying to optimize my map and for this I need to know if we can limit
the number of tiles to load. For example the map I'm carrying on a <div> 500
x 400, but the tile belongs to 10000x8000, when should upload 4 images of
256x256 and not 50 pictures of 256x256. I somehow limit the amount of
pictures to upload?
