[OpenLayers-Users] Layers on EPSG:3857 over Google Maps

Dear all,

I'm trying to overlay some WMS layers on the Google Maps base layers. Both
the map and the WMS layers are defined with the Sperical Mercator projection
(EPSG:3857). But for some reason, all GetMap requests to the WMS overlays
are modified by OpenLayers to the EPSG:900913 SRS. This is the same
projection, but the server only knows the EPSG:3857 code.

Is there a way I can prevent OpenLayers from modifying the request? Or some
way to correct it before it is posted to the server?

Thank you,

Luís
