[pdal] Issue 1905 Follow-up

Tested out, still experiencing difficulties, but this may be an different issue:

Test dataset of lidar scan data resulted in the correct cell size in the x direction, but not the y direction. Y was 0.5 when set to 0.2.
The y axis coordinates are UTM northings, which are in the order of 5,000,000. When I translate the y axis "south" by this amount (to less than 1,000,000) the function works correctly.
Is there somewhere in this program that these values are stored as singles?
