[postgis-users] Looking for some exercises about spatial sql

Hi all.
as i'm newbie to spatial databases, i'm looking for some exercises to work more 
on spatial sql and its conecepts i.e. spatial functions, operators, etc.
is there any online materials?
i just found a workshop presented in FOSS4G conference, but it's not enough
(unfortunately, postgis book is not available in my region to buy)
