[Proj] FW Tools 1.2.2 beginner

Frank,
Thanks for the quick reply.

Based on your replies I should be able to get started
with using GDALwarp and am happy to do so. 

However, before I start I would like to be
clearer....... Could I run proj.4 from the command
line directly without GDALwarp and if so, why would I
need to use GDALwarp?
