I think this may be caused by my using a new package, xcolor. When I 
comment out the \usepackage{xcolor} line in the qgis_style.sty file, I 
get errors exactly like what you report below. This package was included 
in my installation of MSYS. I don't know how this is handled in a Linux 
setup.
