Hi,

I agree that the qgis web could be improved and I like your suggested ideas.
Since it would mean a lot of work, we should make a detailed plan before we
start and there things we have to figure out and talk about before.

a) I think Gary and Tim have created, and mainly updated etc. the web pages so
far. I would like them to tell us their opinion about the plan to more or less
"completely rearrange" the site.

b) I don't know the actual plans for the qgis web precence in the context
of the incubation process to OSGEO.org. Will we still use joomla for the next
years? Maybe Gary can answer that question?

c) To find out, what could be improved, we might motivate users to write us
their opinion (maybe to Stephan directly) and we could also start a poll on the
QGIS web, giving some alternatives like a) QGIS web is great b) QGIS web is
confusing c) QGIS web is too much info ... (just some ideas).
