[Qgis-community-team] QGIS Docs in GIT

Hello,

Yes it is really a great change! github will help the translation/update process as we don't need to download/upload files anymore! Github allow us to edit files directly from the web interface if we have commit access. If the documentation was in restructured text it will be rendered directly in html ;)

Does the old commit access from svn has been converted to github?

Thanks!

Y.

Hi,

I don't have enough experience with git yet and will learn from you, how
we should structure the documentation now. I will arrive later this
afternoon - maybe about 4pm. If you already want to start and there are
obvious things to do, just do it. You don't have to wait for me. I am happy
that we will finally migrate to git this weekend.

Regards
Otto
