Hi,

as Tim said, we are close to finish the RST conversion but still need
revisions. And there are still some general tasks to be done - see wiki for
more information: http://hub.qgis.org/wiki/quantum-gis/LaTeX_to_RST_migration

- We need to add a section where we can link to and add literature.
- Is it possible to create a variable like /CURRENT in rst?
- We need to create blank lines between tables and figures.
- How will we create the section Index?
- Will we create an Appendix?
- We need to transform buttons and menu items after the new convention.

Instead of starting with the translations I would prefere to concentrate on
the update of the manual to 1.8 first. In my opinion translations
should start after that and therefor probably not before beginning of
2013.

Regards
Otto
