Ok I will do my best! :-)
But considering I'm not a git-expert (not at all!!) and that in the past 
I had a quite difficult relation with git, I think it would be better if 
I prepare a brief text and post it on this list.
This way you git-gurus ;-)     can have a look and correct it if necessary.

What do you think about it?
