Hi Ajaze,

I've added hi as a language in master:

https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation/tree/master/i18n/hi

I also added a hi.png to the flags of the qgis theme. I used google for
it, so please do not feel offended if it is not the right one...

I also (google) translated the sentence:

"Welcome to the Quantum GIS Project"

on the the frontpage to:

"क्वांटम जीआईएस परियोजना में आपका स्वागत है"

the same for this: please correct if wrong :-)

So to start translating, checkout the documentations sources as
described in the readme.rst found here after 'Generation':

https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation

If you only want to see and test the hindi translation, you can use the
pre_translate and post_translate scripts with hi as parameter:

sh ./scripts/post_translate.sh hi

and

sh scripts/post_translate.sh hi

to SEE your translated docs, point your browser to the file

./QGIS-Documentation/output/2.0/html/hi/index.html

And if you want to see a working flag you need to (html)-uncomment this
line:

  <!-- <li id="flag_hi" onclick="gotoLang('hi');"><img
src="{{pathto('_static/img/flags/hi.png', 1)}}" title="hi"
alt="hi"></li> -->

in

https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation/blob/master/themes/qgis-theme/layout.html

Good luck with the translation, and feel free to ask questions via this
list.

Regards,

Richard Duivenvoorde
