[Qgis-community-team] Translations of the website

Hi all.
Now that the release of qgis2 is approaching, I think we should plan
the publication of the new website. I see that most stuff in
http://docs.qgis.org
is in good shape: what are the stumbling blocks for the publication?
If none, I think we should start translating it: any objection?
I think translation of the pages should not be a problem (few strings,
infrastructure in place). I hve not clear, however, if the current
system allows the translation of the menus (AFAIK, hardcoded in
layout.html theming template: am I missing something, or this is still
a problem to be solved?
