[Qgis-community-team] Insert "what's new" section into the QGIS user manual

Hello,
while reading the section "What's new" [0] in QGIS2.6 manual, i remarked
that it was really truncated, nearly empty. QGIS website [1] gives indeed
more informations. I'm wondering if these informations available in the
website shouldn't be included in the user manual (maybe through a link to
avoid duplicating translation's effort). They are worthy of being there, no?
Then, what's planned for QGIS 2.8 manual? It hasn't been modified in github
[2], yet. Will "what's next" section in the user manual be the same that
that the website already shows [3]?
