[Qgis-community-team] Translation into German

Dear QGIS-Team,

I'm a geoscientist from Germany and I'd love to help translating some parts of the documentation, the gentle GIS-introduction etc.
I do already have an account on https://www.transifex.com/ - what shall I do in order to start? Is it possible to correct some smaller mistakes in the German translation in addition?
