Hi Patrick,

just a note, that I hope that there is also work (funds) spend on OGR
maybe to make GeoPackage driver work (even) better in QGIS?

because I see a lot of european 'national' organisations opt (sometimes
via a loop via esri) for fgdb's as exchange format here and there ....
