[QGIS-Developer] Adding Service and Layer Metadata for WFS

Hi, I want to add service and layer metadata for the WFS layers in QGIS. I
have come to realize that the base class used for WFS is
QgsVectorDataProvider which doesn't have  an equivalent function of
htmlMetadata as in QgsRasterDataProvider which is used for other services
eg. WMS, WCS. 

Is there any function that will be of help from the QgsVectorDataProvider or
I will need to implement one from scratch?
