Hi,

I started with the Geoinformatics article and added a simple structure:

1. Header with history and background
1.1 QGIS is Open Source (general project/comunity part)
1.2 Functionality
1.3 Plugins
1.4 Development
1.5 Perspective/Conclusion with authors and links

I plan to write more about 1.1 and 1.2. It would be great if some of you
could volunteer to write about 1.3 Plugins, 1.4 Development. In 1.5
Perspective/Conclusion I would suggest to write about QGIS future.

I hope this is ok for you, if not - please change/adapt it. Deadline is February
4, but we should have something at least one week before to send to the editor.

regards,
 Otto
