I agree. A forum with a "development" section but without actual QGIS
developers is worthless and frustrating for users who look for help there.

Normal, "average day" user support could be provided through any forum
whether it's hosted by NextGIS or Stackexchange ... There's really not that
much difference except for that it's easier to tell if a question has been
answered in a Stackexchange format.

I don't agree that users need many options to chose from. They usually want
to get clear instructions. They care for where to get the the right answers
fast. If power users are forced to spread out over many sites, answers will
be slower and less numerous.
