This is mostly a limitation of the current system which is linking 
mostly commits, not pull requests. This will be much improved by 
opengis.ch's grant proposal to automatically open doc issues from pull 
requests. Denis should have time to work on that in the coming weeks.

Hope this clears the dust a bit at least in this area :)
