Hello Werner,
1) for those, who are not familiar with git, would it be possible to
create short copy/paste like intro in wiki for translators?
2) avoid any open-access web-based translation tools. It's not worth
it. For details - search KDE i18n mailing list (try keywords
launchpad, web based - e.g. [1]).
