I agree - I don't think or see a reason why we should start to design a new
logo. The current QGIS logo looks nice and is well known, but is just not
printable on every article in the QGIS shop (as Giovanni desribed). That's why
we need a 3 color version of the multicolor logo. 

For me, one of the proposed three variants from Anita should be used, because
they are close to the "original" and that makes sense to me. I don't know which
one looks the best on all the different articles. Maybe the people who take care
of the shop should decide or we try the variants and order them for one article
to get an impression?
