Hi, guys,

First sorry for my english... i hope you will understand my words... :-)
Last half a year I've worked on OSM support for QGIS and I hope the result will be useful for someone..
It has some limitations but it's better than nothing i hope...

What is important:
OSM plugin and provider that was included in QGIS 1.2.0 release are not the latest versions.
My works on them has continued, but I have no chance to commit my last changed to QGIS SVN repository....
This was done by my friend Martin Dobias previously, but he's on his trip somewhere in Peru now....
So I give you the latest versions of OSM plugin and provider here:
    http://kostej.clancsf.org/osm_support.zip
Please someone, commit them to QGIS trunk !

Differencies between QGIS 1.2.0 OSM plugin/provider and these ones are small...
Here is the list of all changes:

- new OSM style files !! map looks pretty good now.... (finally)
- new icons !
- some texts on dialogs were changed and completed
- "Saving OSM into file" functionality was improved a little....
- now OSM Plugin verify if osm provider is available...
- fixed some problems with encoding... ascii --> utf-8
- removing all OSM layers automatically after disabling OSM plugin in plugin manager
- some dialogs has been renamed
- other small bugfixes ...

Yes, I know about fixes that Jef has done yesterday. Thanx a lot for that :-)
I didn't test plugin and provider on windows, my mistake :-//
I've merged Jef's changes into this version of OSM plugin and provider,
so you can commit them without any worries....

Thanx and have a nice day...
Lukas Berka

PS: Sorry if you received my mail more than once, i had some problems here... :)
