Hi Gavin

I am busy preparing a new all-in-one windows installer of QGIS 1.2.0-1
Daphnis built against gdal 1.6 rather than 1.5. Lets test to see if that
resolves the issue. The build also fixes issues with image display when
using evis under windows. I'll post a note here when its ready.
