Hi there Alex,

I don't have time today to do a formal write-up, but I can point you to a
presentation I gave at the WAURISA conference a couple of months ago that
went through QGIS... from some of the basics, to plugins, to custom apps.
Feel free to pull anything out of there that you think might be interesting.

The install of QGIS into the Live GIS project for FOSS4G is coming along
but we need your help. We need to try and write up a 1 page document on
the basics of QGIS for the 1st time user opening the disc.

If someone could step up and put together a little something, today,
