[Qgis-user] distorted map presentation in wgs84

Have you enabled 'on the fly projection'?
Click button in lower right-hand corner of QGIS window, and click 'enable on
the fly projection'
Are you sure the layer is in WGS84? Do you have the project CRS the same as
the layer CRS?
