[Qgis-user] Default null (transparent) value(s) for raster layers

Is it possible to change some default values
for raster properties? Could this be part of
the Options?

In particular, I have to set 0 as transparent
null value and stretching to min-max almost every time
I display a raster layer.

Actually, being able to write a file with display options
for each raster layer (sort of tifw but for symbolization)
would be very helpful.
