[Qgis-user] Installation of QGIS using Ubuntu Synaptic Package Manager

Greetings

I'm a new QGIS user (I have tested in Windows) and I have just installed in
my Ubuntu installation. I used Karmic Synaptic Package Manager but now, I
looking for where QGIS was installed to see source code and to add a few
files/modules in Plugins but I cannot find it :(. Could anyone help me?
