Thanks, I've tested the plugin and the problem has been solved.
The reason the error was reported in [1]is that it was actually involving a
problem in qgis itself also, as there is no reason why qgis should
abruptly crash
just for having an empty field. It was also hard to actually realize
that the problem
was related to points2one, the first thing coming to my mind being
some installation
or even hardware problem.

Great this is solved in both sides now!
