[Qgis-user] Re: Problem installing 1.7

 Hi Gerardo,

In my case i was able to install QGIS1.7 but i was not able to launch
it. I have Kaspersky.

What i did was i paused Kaspersky and then reinstall QGIS1.7. After
that i was able to launch QGIS1.7.

I didn't think at the time it was a antivirus issue as i was able to
run QGIS1.7 on another windows machine with Kaspersky but i found out
that the particular windows machine with Kaspersky that QGIS1.7 didn't
run on was blocking some important installation files of QGIS from
running. i.e there were different configuration of Kaspersky. After
pausing Kaspersky and reinstalling QGIS1.7 i was able to launch
QGIS1.7 afterwards when i resumed Kaspersky protection.

Give it a try. Either that or just make sure that your antivirus
programs don't block certain instances of when QGIS1.7 is trying to
install certain files.

Hope this would help

Cheers

Both Layers are displayed, but there is an offset of about 20 meters. Is that due to inaccuracy of the transformation or is it a bug in QGIS?
