[Qgis-user] Fwd: qgis 1.8 on MAC: Problem with qwt and more

Is the value tool pluin popular enough to be included either as

- a builtin plugin - using matplotlib instead of pyqt
-part of the main app - in c++ and qwt, which does not cause problems anywhere
