[Qgis-user] Raster not always transparent

Hi All,

Does anyone else have problems with printing rasters to png/jpg/pdf that the image has bands of none transparent data in it? If so, is there a way to fix it?

See example here (from Ubuntu one cloud): http://ubuntuone.com/4RODlW7DmnL56CbLwK20FM. This has a background raster (non transparent) a 35% transparent overlay raster and also a point vector layer.

I'm working with QGIS 1.8.0 on Ubuntu 12.04.

Pointers gladly appreciated!
