[Qgis-user] QGIS 1.8 GetFeature filter parameter

Hi,

i'm trying to get filtered features making a WFS request with FILTER
parameter. Everything is ok filtering by using "PropertyIsEqualTo" but it
doesn't work with: 

"PropertyIsLike"   
wildCard='*' 
singleChar='.' 
escapeChar='!' 
matchCase='false' 

Browser makes a correct request reporting right GET params (i can see it in
debug), but response contains all features of query layer (filter seems to
be not applied). 
So my question is: 

Does qgis server 1.8 support FILTER option with "PropertyIsLike" parameter?

I have just tried with 1.9 and it seems work quite fine but i have to use
1.8.
