Hi Ross,
yes, we have a 1.8 version in a Windows 2008 server with remote access
since 1 year ago. It works fine.

Has anyone had experience installing QGIS in a virtual environment, either
on a virtual desktop or as a virtual application, that they would be
willing to share?
We have a Windows Server environment with Citrix.
