[Qgis-user] (1) Unable resize the main GUI window in the vertical direction (2) Labels missing

Hi,

I have never heard that the QGIS main window cannot be resized
vertically. Maybe an issue or setting in your operating system?
Sometimes graphic card settings control the Windows in Windows and have
some weird side effects.

As to the "labels missing". You will have to describe your problem in
more details or we cannot help. As an example - is polygon
simplification turned on? Or on-the-fly reprojection? Any issues with
min/max scales or rules?

Best would be if you share your project and some sample data
demonstrating the issue.
