[Qgis-user] QGIS 2.2 - Remove layer dialog

Hi List,
  QGIS 2.2 has a confirmation dialog when I go to remove a layer; Maybe
it's me but I'm sure the previous versions didn't - alternately I can't
find a setting anywhere to turn this behaviour off (I'm assuming I did in
the past if it was there).

Is this a new feature or have I just lost the setting? Personally I find it
quite annoying so would like to disable it.
